Tasia C. Taylor is an Arkansas-based children's author, former elementary educator, and founder of the Raising Readers Club. With a passion for helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally, she creates engaging picture books that spark meaningful conversations while making reading fun.
After earning her degree in Elementary Education from Arkansas Tech University, Tasia spent several years in the classroom before pursuing her dream of writing full-time. As a mother of five and adoptive mom to three teenagers, she brings real-life experiences, compassion, and a deep understanding of childhood development into every story she writes.
Her books blend humor, adventure, and heartfelt lessons to encourage kindness, resilience, empathy, emotional intelligence, responsibility, and confidence. Many of her stories are valuable resources for parents, teachers, counselors, librarians, and homeschool families looking to reinforce important social-emotional skills through literature.
Beyond writing, Tasia is passionate about encouraging literacy and supporting the independent author community. She is the host of Raising Readers | Indie Author Conversations, a podcast where she interviews fellow independent authors about their publishing journeys, creative processes, and the stories behind their books. Through these conversations, she celebrates the indie publishing community, inspires aspiring writers, and introduces readers to incredible children's books they may not have discovered otherwise.
Tasia also visits schools and libraries throughout the region, inspiring young readers to develop a lifelong love of reading while showing students that becoming a published author is a dream within reach. She is the founder of the Raising Readers Club, an online membership that gives families digital access to her books, exclusive literacy resources, and activities designed to make reading a meaningful part of everyday life.

My mission is to inspire a lifelong love of reading while equipping children with the confidence, compassion, and emotional skills they need to thrive. Through engaging stories, meaningful conversations, and educational resources, I strive to help families, educators, and communities raise readers who are not only strong readers but also kind, resilient, and empathetic individuals.
Beyond my books, I am committed to encouraging the next generation of storytellers by showing children that their dreams are within reach. Through school visits, the Raising Readers Club, and my podcast, Raising Readers | Indie Author Conversations, I also seek to celebrate literacy, support independent authors, and foster a community where books have the power to educate, inspire, and bring people together.
